Karelia Stetz-WatersKarelia Stetz-Waters (MA ’03) is English department chair at Linn-Benton Community College. Laird Christensen

Laird ChristensenLaird Christensen (Ph.D. 99) was appointed to design and direct the newest graduate program at Green Mountain College, a Master of Science degree in Resilient and Sustainable Communities. He was previously the founding director of the Master of Science degree in Environmental Studies, which is the largest graduate program at Green Mountain College, where he has taught since 2000. Dan Tannacito

Tannacito picDan Tannacito (DA ’70; PhD ’72) retired recently (2012) as Emeritus Professor of English from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) after 35 years of teaching and research. He was a Distinguished Professor of Teaching at IUP, a Senior Fulbright Scholar in Turkey, Director of Graduate Studies in Composition & TESOL, and Director of the American Language Institute for 30 years.  (more…)

David Sumner

David Sumner David Sumner (PhD, 2000) has been promoted to Professor of English and Environmental Studies at Linfield College, McMinnville, OR.

He published “The Limits of Violence: People and Property in Edward Abbey’s Monkeywrenching Novels,” Ecozon@: European Journal of Literature, Culture and Environment 4.2 (Fall 2013), and, with Lisa Weidman, “Eco-terrorism or Eco-tage: An Argument for the Proper Frame,” ISLE: Interdisciplinary Studies in Literature and Environment 20.4 (Fall 2013).

Dennis W. Eddings

Eddings (Ph.D. 1973) is Emeritus Professor of Humanities at Western Oregon University.  Born June 7, 1938 in Everett Washington, Dr. Eddings earned his BA and MA from the University of Washington, in 1966 and 1968, respectively, before pursing his Ph.D. at UO.
