Please save the date for "Un-Becoming Central American-American: Passing, Subjectivity, and Latinidad," an intriguing presentation by Professor Maritza Cardenas.
Professor Cardenas is Associate Professor of English at the University of Arizona. Her research and teaching focus on US Central Americans and Latina/o cultural productions, identity, and subject formation. Her monograph, Constituting Central American-Americans: Transnational Identities and the Politics of Dislocation, was published last summer by Rutgers University Press.
