Graduate Dissertation Nominated for ProQuest Humanities/Fine Arts Competition

Angela Rovak's dissertation,  "Make Something Besides a Baby: Race, Gender, and Reproductive Science in 20th Century Black Women's Novels," has been chosen by the UO Graduate School as the University of Oregon's Humanities/Fine Arts nomination for the Council of Graduate Schools/ProQuest Distinguished Dissertation Award.   Rovak’s dissertation was selected by the UO Graduate School out of all the dissertations from University of Oregon Humanities/Fine Arts departments submitted during the past two years.   The nomination will move forward to the next round of reviews for the national award.  The Award is funded jointly by ProQuest Dissertations Publishing and the Council of Graduate Schools.
