Join UO Alum Katlynn Nicolls for an information session on the Denver Publishing Institute

UO graduate and Denver Publishing Institute alum Katlynn Nicolls will soon be on campus to answer questions about DPI and other exciting opportunites in book publishing.
DPI, sponsored by the University of Denver, is a four-week summer program that offers advanced undergrads and recent grads ways to jumpstart careers in literary production, editing, and marketing. The Institute, now in its 44th consecutive year, is run by industry professionals who work at trade, university, textbook, and independent publishing houses.
Program sessions include lectures and hands-on workshops on subjects like manuscript editing, copy editing, writing press releases, developing marketing plans, and more. Program graduates have gone on to work for companies like Harper Collins, Penguin, Chicago Review Press, Sourcebooks, Pearson, and McGraw-Hill.
