The Oregon Center for Translation Studies will soon host its inaugural symposium, "Questions in Translation." The two-day event features three exciting roundtable presentations and a keynote address by Karen Emmerich, Associate Professor of Comparative Literature at Princeton University.

- 10:30-12:00: "What do 'good' translations do, exactly?" (Roundtable Panel)
- 1:30-3:00: "What does it mean to translate context?" (Roundtable Panel)
- 3:30: Keynote address: "Translation, Advocacy, Friendship," delivered by Karen Emmerich
