Nick Recktenwald, Associate Director of the Composition, was awarded a Tykeson Teaching Award by the College of Arts and Sciences for his innovative work to create and support online and remote curriculum delivery as well as supporting faculty during the shift to largely remote and online classes this year.
The Pacific Northwest Just Futures Institute for Racial and Climate Justice at the University of Oregon. Stephanie LeMenager, Moore Endowed Professor of English and Environmental Studies, was a key player in helping obtain the $4.52 million grant from the Mellon Foundation to establish the Pacific Northwest Just Futures Institute for Racial and Climate Justice at the University of Oregon.
