Please join UO English for a guest lecture by Princeton University Professor Anne McClintock, titled "Monster: A Fugue in Ice and Fire."

Professor Anne McClintock is the A. Barton Hepburn Professor of Gender and Sexuality Studies at Princeton University. Her work examines the intersections between race, gender and sexualities; imperialism and globalization; visual culture and mass media; sexual and gender violence; and environmentalism and animal studies. Professor McClintock is the author of Imperial Leather: Race, Gender and Sexuality in the Colonial Contest (Routledge, 1995).
