Multicultural, American Cultures (AC) courses focus on race and ethnicity in the United States by considering two or more racial and ethnic groups (African American, Chicano/Latino, Native American, Asian American, and European American) from historical and comparative perspectives. They do not necessarily deal specifically with discrimination or prejudice, although many do.
