Professor Tanisha Ford will give a public talk titled “The Politics of Style: Black Women, Social Movements, and Global Fashion Economies” at 12:00pm on Friday, April 29, 2016, in the Knight Library Browsing Room. Professor Ford will draw the talk from her new book Liberated Threads: Black Women, Style, and the Global Politics of Soul (UNC Press, 2015).
