On Friday, November 11, 2016, Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz will present a talk, “The Culture of Conquest: The United States as a Settler-Colonial State,” in the Knight Library Browsing Room from 4:00pm-5:30pm. This talk is free and open to the public.
Dunbar-Ortiz is an acclaimed historian, activist, and author of many books, including An Indigenous Peoples’ History of the United States and Roots of Resistance.
