Intertwined: Stories of Home, a live listening event featuring UO community members

May 11, 2017, 7:00 pm

What is home?  How can we work to make UO a welcoming home for all?

We think stories are one place to start. Join us on Thursday, May 11, at 7:30pm in the Global Scholars Hall Great Room for “Intertwined: Stories of Home.” Twelve storytellers—a diverse group representing a rich array of campus perspectives—will perform pieces that speak to the sweetness, grief, risk, and humor inherent in the idea of home. All stories will be paired with music by local improvisational musician and professional storyteller, Cullen Vance.

Come to listen, hold space for each other, and honor the diverse and powerful experience found in our community. There will be refreshments!

Intertwined is a project of the Office of the Dean of Students in collaboration with other campus partners.
