2021 Celebration Ceremony

The English Department and Folklore & Public Culture Virtual Celebration Ceremony will be available on this page (here) as a recorded message Saturday, June 12 following the main UO Commencement Ceremony which is beginning at 9 a.m., info here.

Please note, the main UO Commencement Ceremony will be immediately followed by the College of Arts and Sciences Ceremony (CAS) at approximately 10 a.m. as described here and where the graduate roll for English and Folklore & Public Culture Graduates will exclusively be a part of the (CAS) Humanities Division Ceremony. These ceremonies are coordinated by UO Commencement and CAS.

While the English Department and Folklore & Public Culture Virtual Celebration Ceremony is being released after the main UO Commencement Ceremony on this page (here), the recording can be watched at any time following the main UO Commencement Ceremony and will remain available throughout the remainder of June.

Ceremonies and Receptions:

  • The main UO commencement will consist of a live webcast ceremony at 9:00 am on Saturday, June 12th, followed by prerecorded “Grad Rolls” for each of the schools and colleges and the three divisions of CAS.
